Lady Naita Siri

This one is for a contest on Gaiaonline.com.
The character is Lady Naita Siri (© Naita on Gaia) a girl living in the King James I reign. So I had to do her in a jacobean - elizabethan dress, and I had to try it ! Héhé, it was a nice thing to vector, I had a real fun !

Back In Paris 1900

It's a gift for a cousin who's getting married in March. :3 Since months I was wondering which gift I could do for her. Then knowing her wedding theme would be "Old Paris", I searched ideas on net, then found a little old postcard on a website, showing this street in 1900 (no copyrights found cause it's an old photography anyway). What a neat idea !! It was quite a BIG challenge, with all the people in the pic, but I think I succeed to do it. Of course ther're some variations from the original. For example at the beginning there was a dog in foreground, but then it didn't look like a dog, more like a ram or a sheep (poor him), so I removed it ! xD
Anyway, I hope you'll like it.
Translation of the text in the image : "Paris - Boulogne Wood Avenue".
Done in about 35 hours with Illustrator CS2 :333
The land gets warmer and the grass is swelling. Flowers open out, all the trees are in bloom. Land doesn't need much time to be luxuriant, it shines with a beauty that only summer will tarnish.
I hope you'll like the Finale, as it's the last one of the serie !
Hope you feel the cold there where this girl (personification of winter) is standing up in the snow. I love adding details so much i couldn't resist and put snow on her. ^^
Enjoy ! Next one will be autumn !

Warm Summer

Summer is a warm season, when life is everywhere splendid and bright, with the hot weather, and Summer is often synonym with harvest or vacation. But I decided not to do the harvest, just a wheat field and no shadow from the tree of right to protect the light skin of the woman (though I think she's not kinda real), a hard suffocating weather. But she's there around the wheat field with around her those red poppies who grow in cereal fields in summer, and the lark, synonym of summer in france, is flying to another place while two swans and a heron are in peace behind her on the lake, and it doesn't seem they see her.
Next one will be Spring.
